I'm SO READY for the HOLIDAYS! Baking, Gift Giving, Wrapping, Snow, Hot Co Co...what's NOT to love?!

  I truly love the Holiday season.  Brings out the June Cleaver and Betty Crocker out in me.  I love to bake and I love the romance of the season.  Everything sparkles and seems so magical.  You feel happy and jolly and full of happiness.

  Sadly though, it's only the first week of November!  But, I have so many wonderful ideas in my head.  I wanted to share them with you and get a head start on the season.  First on my list is to prepare for Thanksgiving Dinner.  We always seem to do the same thing and I already blogged a little bit about my menu.  But, it's not that far away and I need to get some deep cleaning done for our dinner guests...and some shopping, baking and cooking.  I can smell the turkey already!

  The next thing I want to do is a COOKIE EXCHANGE!  I've never hosted one and only attended one about twenty years ago.  So, I'm going to get that started right away!  I'm going straight to Pinterest for some ideas.  Feel free to share your ideas or post on my Pinterest page!

  Holiday decorating.  Well, that one makes me a little bummed.  We are a family of five living on a very tight budget and I would love to decorate more for the holidays.  But our budget does not seem to allow for much of that.  So, I'm cleaning out some old toys and posting them on Ebay to help with some of the holiday budget.  I think it will take away some of the guilt of spending money AND tidy up the house at the same time!

  So, here I go, early November....and I'm putting in a Holiday movie and getting a move on the cleaning!
