Thanksgiving Binder for Planning a Stress Free Day!

I'm working on my Thanksgiving Menu plan.  Usually, I do everything pretty much last minute and my stress level is over the roof.  This year, I am hoping to be more organized and hopefully more relaxed.

I found a few ideas and thought I would share them with you.  If you have read through my blog before, I am a huge fan of lists.  But sometimes I can go a little overboard.  I follow a YouTube channel called OrganizedJen and this woman is the most organized person I have ever seen!  So, I thought I would take some of her ideas along with some others that I have found and give them a try.

First thing I am going to do different this year, is make a Thanksgiving Binder.  Sounds different, but I think this is an awesome idea!  I usually make a lot of the same recipes and I have to sift through my regular recipe binder to find what I need.  Once I have gathered my tried and true recipes I realize that they look like they have been drug through butter, gravy, and cranberry sauce....yuck.  So, I took the time to reprint them and put them in plastic sleeves like Jen does.
Now as you are cooking your wonderful meal for your family, everything is set in your binder.  The recipes are protected from spills and splatter and ready for next Thanksgiving.

I also found a very nicely detailed check list that I think is amazing.  It has everything planned out for you so that way you don't find yourself trying to get everything done in one hectic day while your guests are sitting there staring at you because they are starving and the turkey isn't even in the oven yet.
Now, get yourself organized and see how smoothly things go and have a fantastic Holiday dinner!
