SNOW ICE CREAM

Let It Snow!

It's 6:30 am and school has already been cancelled for the day and not one snow flake has fallen yet.  But, in just a few hours we will see that beautiful white snow.  We live in an area that very rarely sees any snow - so this is a major event!  I went to the store yesterday and stocked up on a few items...one of which was sweetened condensed milk for SNOW ICE CREAM!

A few years ago, we were trapped in our home for a few days due to a blizzard and I was introduced to snow ice cream from all of my friends on Facebook.  Now, I was raised in Ohio in the snow belt and never had I heard of snow ice cream.  So, I had to see what the excitement was all about.  Let me tell ya, the kids thought it was amazing!  So I thought I would do it again.  Here's the recipe, let me know what your children think.  HAPPY SNOW DAY!

8 C clean snow

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla

Mix it all together and enjoy!  We did add a little chocolate syrup on top!  Great memories were made!
